MakerGear M2 Rev. E (M2e) – Product Description

M2 Means Quality

If you have ever heard someone say, "They don't make them like they used to," they probably weren't talking about the MakerGear M2.

High-precision print quality, especially over time, depends on high-quality components. Combined with American manufacturing quality, these components make the MakerGear M2 a trusted choice for affordable, industrial-level precision. Its durable, modular design simplifies maintenance, reducing troubleshooting time and allowing users to focus on innovation.

Backed by outstanding customer support and consistently positive reviews, the MakerGear M2 delivers dependable performance for professional and enthusiast applications.

Originally released in 2012, the MakerGear M2 has continued to evolve through real-world user feedback. The M2 Rev. E (M2e) represents the fifth generation of the M2 series.

The M2 Rev. E introduces an improved four-point bed leveling system, more rigid construction, metal components replacing selected printed parts, Quick Start software, a tutorial video, and an updated user guide. Setup is straightforward, helping users move from unboxing to their first prints.

Key Features

Reliability: The steel frame and CNC-machined cast aluminum construction provide industrial-level precision in a compact footprint. The four-point print bed is easy to level and designed to maintain its level, eliminating the need for Z-compensation or automatic bed leveling under normal conditions.

Filament Freedom: Although MakerGear filament is recommended, users can choose their preferred filament. Open-source electronics and firmware provide the flexibility needed for a wide range of projects.

Ready to Use: Every MakerGear M2 is tested at the MakerGear factory in Beachwood, Ohio. Quick Start software, a step-by-step user guide, and a tutorial video help users get started with their first prints.

Built for Performance: Ease of use, reliable operation, high-quality prints, durable construction, and responsive in-house support make the MakerGear M2 a versatile desktop 3D printing solution.
